Bobbie Jean "Barbara" Hankins

On February 22, 2025, Bobbie (Barbara) Hankins was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. She received the greatest grace of eternal peace, where there is no sadness or tears.

Bobbie (Barbara) Hankins was born June 3, 1948, to Annie Hankins. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized. She later added to Westside Church of Christ, under of the leadership of Brother Melvin Whitlock.

Barbara was a native of Sheffield, AL and attended Leighton Training School where she received her education. Barbara worked at Constellium for over 20 years before she retired.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Hankins; son, Calvin Hankins; one brother, Charles Hankins; two sisters, Lucille Howard and Peggy Hankins.

Her life, memories, smile, and her willingness to help others will always be remembered and cherished by her son, Stephen (Felicia) Hankins of Harvest, AL; sisters, Cindy King, Bertha Hankins and Ronell Hankins, all of Sheffield, AL; one brother, Willie Frank West of Leighton, AL; and a host of grandkids, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends..
