Bessie Mae Hampton White

Mrs. Bessie M. White was born on August 17, 1947 to the late Will Hampton and Alice B. Hampton. She departed her life on March 13, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence, Alabama.

She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age and joined Cave Spring M. B. Church and later joined St. James M.B. Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters: Brenda Madden, Alene White and TyKeshia White all of Leighton, Alabama, two sons: Aaron (Wanda) White and Willie (Zoe) White both of Leighton, Alabama, ten grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren, one sister, Dorie (Leon) Gatrey of Leighton, Alabama, eight brothers: Richard (Mandy) Hampton, Walter, Leroy, Otis, Joseph, Billy and Willie Hampton all of Leighton, Alabama and Rev. Lloyd L. (Jacqulyn) Hampton of Brandywine, Maryland, six sisters-in-law: Geneva Alexander, Sheffield, Alabama, Dorothy Kellam, Juanita Belue, Laura (William) Belue all Tuscumbia, Alabama, Vickey White and Connie White both Decatur, Alabama, two brothers-in-law, Eddie (Christine) White of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and Paul (Bertha) White of Decatur, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ms. White will lie in the sanctuary one hour prior to the funeral service. Dr. Green Davidson, III, pastor
