Barbara Jean Lewis

Barbara Jean Lewis was born June 6, 1950, to the late Annie & Robert Smith. Barbara departed this life on September 22, 2024. 

Barbara was preceded in by her husband, Levert “Sunny” Lewis, parents, Annie and Robert Smith, one brother, Frank Simmons, two aunts, Annie Jones and Gretha McNeal, one uncle, Gordon Bailey, a nephew, Credic Davis, a close cousin, Dessie Evans.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

a son, Rickey Crutch of Huntsville, AL and a daughter, Khadija Lewis of Muscle Shoals, AL; a grandson, Layden Xander Lewis of Muscle Shoals, AL; four sisters, Maria Thompsom (the late Homer) of St. Louis, MO, Ruby Epps (William) of Florence, AL, Gloria Owens (Ossie) of Leighton, AL, and Linda Anna Breedlove (John) of St. Louis, MO;  one brother, Leonard Smith (Elvina) of St. Louis, MO; two aunts, Zinnie Elliott (the late Rudford) of Harvest, AL and Gertha McNeal; a nephew, Ozzie McNeal; a special great nephew, Kerry Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
