Ashley Miranda Pendleton-Little was a bright and beautiful soul who was born on October 26, 1985, to Kenya Morrow-Pendleton and Dexter Pendleton. She transitioned peacefully on July 4, 2025, at the age of 39, after a courageous battle with cancer. She graduated from J.0. Johnson High School and continued her education at the University of North Alabama.
She later joined the U.S. Army where she received an honorable discharge. Ashely built a beautiful life with her loving husband, Charleston Little and together they raised three amazing children: Maya, Sicily, and Evan - her pride and joy, her purpose, her heart.
Ashley will be remembered for her strength, grace and radiant spirit. Whether she was caring for her family, sharing a laugh with friends, or standing firm through life's hardest moments, she carried herself with warmth and dignity. She was the kind of woman who made you feel seen, heard, and loved - always.
Her journey with cancer was marked not only by pain, but also by profound resilience.
Even in her hardest days, Ashley remained a source of light and love. Ashley leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. She touched the hearts of many and will continue to live on in all of us.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dexter Pendleton; her grandfathers, James Eddie Pendleton and Lawrence E. Morrow, Jr.; and an uncle, Levar Robert Morrow.
