Anthony Ray Reeder was on September 24, 1953, in Florence, Alabama, to the late Katherine Churchwell-Jackson and the late Nathaniel Reeder. Anthony departed this earthly life on Tuesday, December 03, 2024, at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Churchwell Jackson and Nathaniel Reeder; two sisters, Izoner (William) Rhodes and Gwendoyln Jackson; one daughter, Tonya Churchwell; one grandson, TraVon McCord; two nephews, Archie Louis Rhodes and Roderick Jackson.
Mr. Reeder leaves behind to cherish his memories:
one daughter, Melissa McCord (Derrick Carter) of Leighton, AL; one son, DeMarcus Robinson of Leighton, AL; five grandchildren, TaVasha McCord of Leighton, AL, Teondre Goodloe (Tyisha) of Leighton, AL, Jeffery Horrison (Jasmine) of Sheffield, AL, Christopher Polk of Sheffield, AL, and Shana Polk of Sheffield, AL; two great granddaughters, Lai’ana Goodloe and Piper Gandy; one cousin, Robert Eric McClain of Florence, AL; thirteen nieces, La’Wana Freeman (William) of Florence, AL, Phylassaphine Snow (Carlos) of Birmingham, AL, Pamela Rhodes of Tuscumbia, AL, Jamie Jackson-Milkey (Tom) of Michigan, Jyla Rose Jackson of Michigan, Ashley Dallas (Marlon) of Florence, AL, Arsheana Rhodes of Huntsville, AL, Arionna Rhodes of Huntsville, AL, Journey Rhodes of Tuscumbia, AL, Tamela Lampley of Birmingham, AL, Nalliey Jackson of Florence, AL, Keira Jackson of Michigan, and Kyiah Jones of Florence, AL; five nephews, Lafayette Jackson Sr. of Michigan, Ira Jones of Florence, AL, Lafayette Jackson Jr. of Michigan, Ja’Kylan Jones of Florence, AL, and DaKota Nobles of Birmingham, AL; Life Partner, Angela Horrison-Madden; and other relatives and friends.
