Mrs. Annie Pearl Jarmon Qualls was born September 15, 1943, and departed this life on July 18, 2025, after extended illness. She confessed Christ and was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Leighton, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Commander Jessie Qualls; parents, Ernest and Omelia C. Jarmon; brother, Bennie Jarmon; brother-in-law, Orlandus Grant Qualls; sisters- in-law; Ludie Mae Qualls Abernathy and Janie Ruth Allen; nephews; Rodney Jarmon and Keith Qualls; and niece, Okima Jones Horrison.
Annie Pearl Qualls retired from Big Lots; she had a long work history working for Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital for several years, as well as JC Penney. She also went to school and became a beautician.
She leaves to cherish her memories:
two daughters, Rosalinda Qualls and Tawana Qualls, bonus daughter, Selena Denton; one son, Christopher Qualls; grandsons; Benjamin Qualls and Emmanuel Coleman; bonus grandson, Kalen Denton; sisters, Helen Stanley and Joyce Causly; sisters-in-law; Lela Jarmon, Josie Burgess, Willa Whiteside, and Dorothy Qualls; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
