Mr. Alvin Bernard “Tennessee” Ricks was a native of Leighton, Alabama. Mr. Ricks was born May 4, 1965, in Colbert County, Alabama. He departed this life on Thursday, July 25, 2024. He joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Colbert County High School, where he graduated in 1984. “Tennessee” was a member of the football team while at Colbert County High School. He was previously employed by Oakley Forest Product for many years.
“Tennessee” was proceeded in death by his mother: Gernice Ricks; father: Harry Bates; sisters: Virginia Lewis; Pansy Bates; Brothers: Henderson Qualls, Alphonso Lewis and Emmitt Ricks; Stepdaughter: Sheneka Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memories and honor his life; Son: Javien Davis;
