Akera Tyiese Harris

Akera Tyiese Harris was born to Cristina Goode and Remondo Harris, Sr. on April 17th, 1998. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, June 14th, 2025.

She received Christ at an early age becoming a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Town Creek, Alabama. She graduated from Decatur High School Class of 2017.

Her family will remember her as a very confident lady as well as a devoted mother to her only child Ka’mori whom she adored. Akera was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend. She would give you the shirt off her back. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

Miss Harris was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Cinderella Harris; aunt, Evetta Goode Mason; and a host of other relatives.

She is survived by her only child, a daughter, Ka’mori Harris, as well as her loving and devoted mother, Cristina Goode; father, Remondo Harris, Sr.; brothers, Carlos Goode (Latoya), Darrian Almon (Caresha), Remondo Harris, Jr., Jacolby Harris, Jacob Smith, Jr., and Gabe Harris; maternal grandmother, Yvonne Johnson; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Sheppard; paternal grandfather, Charles Satchel; nephew, Kyson Garner; nieces, Nola Goode, Azalia Smith; a special friend, that was more like a sister, Antoinetta Thorton, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
